Patrice Hill
Hello Everyone,
My name is Patrice Hill, and I am the proud Owner and Founder of Queen P’s Soulfood Kitchen – where comfort meets community, and every plate is served with purpose.
Born and raised in Gainesville, Georgia, I am a mother to two beautiful daughters, Tomelia and Lundon, and the eldest of five sisters. I began cooking at just 10 years old, helping my mother care for my younger siblings. Feeding them sparked something deep in me-a love for cooking and, more importantly, a passion for serving others.
I started working at the age of 14 and spent over 35 years in the Manufacturing Industry, building a career that stretched across many roles: cashier, machine operator, telemarketer, supervisor, HR business partner, life insurance agent, caterer-and yes, even a self-proclaimed Certified Hustler. Every experience taught me something valuable, but no matter how far I strayed, my heart always led me back to the kitchen.
After 27 amazing years at a company that treated me well, I made the difficult but courageous decision to step out on faith and bet on myself. I left behind the comfort of familiarity to pursue the dream that’s lived in me since childhood-to feed souls, uplift spirits, and build something meaningful for my family and my community.
